Schedule: Thursday & Friday evenings, Saturday evening shifts (approximately 12–15 hours per week)

Position Overview

Revival Wine & Dessert Bar, located in a historic 1855 mansion, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Kitchen Assistant to support food preparation and service during peak evenings. This role is ideal for someone who appreciates traditional hospitality, works efficiently in a small kitchen environment, and takes pride in presentation.

This position supports live music nights and programmed events, requiring steady execution and teamwork.

Schedule Requirements

  • Thursday evenings

  • Friday evenings

  • Saturday evening shifts

  • Occasional flexibility for special events

This is a peak-hour position. We are not currently hiring for weekday prep shifts.

Compensation

  • $15 per hour

  • Participation in the house tip pool

  • Approximate total hourly earnings vary based on nightly volume

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of small plates, charcuterie cups, and light savory items

  • Portion and plate composed bites for events and music nights

  • Prepare and restock service items (pretzels, popcorn, shareables)

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas

  • Support efficient food flow during peak service

  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times

Qualifications

  • Prior kitchen or food service experience preferred

  • Ability to work quickly and neatly in a compact kitchen

  • Strong attention to detail in plating and presentation

  • Reliable transportation and punctuality required

  • Comfortable working in a team environment during busy service
